During his studies as a communication designer for new media, he worked as a trendscout and afterwards in the innovation lab of SinnerSchrader. They talk about their Digital Foosball Table. Photo sensors recognize and track when a goal is scored. As soon as the ball passes a sensor, it sends a signal via the built-in Arduino board into the cloud. An important feature to the digital foosball table is the mobile WebApp. It turns the mobile phone into a digital scoreboard. But it also serves as your personal log in screen to set up a new match before you begin a game. On your personal profile you can access more detailed information, such as: your performance over time or who is your most feared opponent. And to make it even more fun, you can earn different badges based on how you play.
