rAndom International are a London-based experimental design collective founded in 2005 by Hannes Koch, Stuart Wood and Flo Ortkrass after they met at the Royal College of Art. Together they have developed a series of mostly interactive installations that re-interpret our perception of digital technology.
They presented “Audience” (created with Chris O’Shea) a recent installation at the Royal Opera House that starts to look at the behaviour of objects. With Audience they intended to take interaction with and reaction to technology away from the screen or media wall and introduce it into a physical, three dimensional space, hoping to establish a different kind of relationship between viewer and technology.
