James Weiner is an interaction and visual designer on at the Government Digital Service. He is also the publisher for Ferment, a non-profit illustrated literary magazine.
As a project that was the result of the coming together of three friends who needed more stimulation in their lives, Ferment has been a brilliant way for many writers and illustrators to collaborate and share their work. James will talk about the ups and downs of collaboration, making sure things happen on time, and about publishing in paper media both big and small in the age of the web.
